- Payment Information: When you purchase a Visitor Pass, our third-party payment processors (Apple, Google, and Stripe) will collect your payment information. We do not store or have access to your full credit card details.
- User Type: We store your self-selected user type ("Visitor" or "Kamaʻāina") to provide you with the correct content.
B. Information Collected Automatically:
- Redemption Data: When you activate and redeem an in-person offer, we collect precise location data (GPS) to verify you are at the merchant's location.
- Usage & Device Data: We collect data related to your interactions with the Service, such as which offers you view, redeem, or save. We may also collect technical data about your device (e.g., model, operating system) and session activity to help us debug technical issues and improve the user experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide the Service: To display relevant offers based on your user type (Visitor or Kamaʻāina) and to verify your location for in-person redemptions.
- To Improve the Service: We analyze usage data to understand which offers and vendors are popular, which allows us to sort by "trending" and improve the usefulness of the application.
- To Communicate with Members: We will use your email address to contact you regarding your membership status, payment confirmations, renewal information, or significant changes to our Service.
- To Fulfill Our Service to Vendors: We use aggregated and anonymized redemption data to inform vendors about the effectiveness of their offers.
3. How We Share Your Information
Your privacy is a critical part of our mission.
- We do not sell or distribute your personal information to third parties.
- With Vendors: We share only anonymous and aggregated data with our vendors (e.g., "Your '20% Off' offer was redeemed 50 times last month"). We will never share your personal email or name with a vendor unless you provide it to them directly.
- With Service Providers: We may use third-party companies (like payment processors, cloud hosting, and analytics services) to help us operate our Service. These companies are obligated not to disclose or use your information for any other purpose.

4. A Note for Our Vendors
This Privacy Policy primarily covers our end-users (Members). Business owners who sign up as Vendors separately agree to be contacted by our team regarding their offers, business profiles, and account status as part of their Vendor Agreement.

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
